When the Third Card is Dealt

Situations when the player gets the third card you already know, but for the banker they are a little different. For many gamblers this moment is one of the most difficult in baccarat. For the banker the third card is dealt in the case:

• If the sum of his points is between 0 and 2;
• If the sum of his points is 3, and the player’s third card is any but 8;
• The banker has 4 points and the player’s third card is between 2 and 7;
• The banker has 5 points and the player’s third card is 4 to 7;
• 6 points for the banker and 6-7 is the player’s third card.

Blackjack, or 21

The goal of this table game is to score 21 points or as close to it as possible. In this one jacks, queens, and kings equate to 10, and an ace can equal either 11 or 1 in the player’s favor. Each member, including the dealer, is dealt 2 cards. The last one has one of them face down and everyone can rate their chances of winning both the others and the dealer. After receiving the cards, you have a few choices of actions:

• Stand – if you think your chances are good;
• Hit – take another card if you are very low;
• Split – you split two identical cards into two hands, the amount of the bet on the second hand must equal the amount of the original bet;
• Insure bet – if you think the dealer has a blackjack, i.e. exactly 21 points, you can make an insurance bet for half of yours at 2 to 1 odds;
• Fold – if you are sure to fail, it is better to fold and lose half of your bet rather than the whole one.
